Warm night completely

, no thoughts, silence

Music fills my ears

Dark and cold my mind

Wondering, what goes on in

silence. Who am I?

 Am I the muse?

A dead poet’s age,

You say they wrote about me.

Is it really true?

I breathe in, out, in, 

And I erase to rewrite, 

Left to thoughts that spin.

The small living room

Toys everywhere on the floor

Babies are messy

Trains are really loud

They pass my house going fast

Gone in a minute

Blue roadside soldiers

Twisting stems hold new promise

Of sunlit mornings
